1. Prepare yourself and your space for meditation. 

Stretching comes first. Yes, that will enable you to sit without experiencing any stiffness or stress in your body. Make sure to stretch your feet, shoulders, thighs, hips, buttocks, and back. Consider performing poses like Paschimottanasana, Utthita Padahastasana, Baddha Konasana, Vajrasana, etc.

2. Posture of Sitting

Whether you're seated on the floor, in a chair, or leaning against a wall, make yourself at ease. Maintain a straight, but not excessively straight, back.

Put your hands in a relaxed mudra or position, either on your knees or clasped together close to the inner thighs.

Take the Sukhasana, Padmasana, Ardha Padmasana, or Vajrasana when you are seated.

Make sure you are comfortable in the position or alter it if necessary to prevent your seating position from interfering with your meditation.

3. Breathing

Feel your breath as you inhale and exhale slowly and deliberately. Breathe in for six counts, hold your breath for six counts, and then exhale for six counts.

4. Visualisation

5. Chanting
