How to Make Shikakai Oil at Home (Shikakai Oil Recipe)


To make shikakai oil

  • Take these ingredients like pure shikakai paste, coconut oil, vitamin E capsules, olive or almond oil.
  • To make shikakai oil, first take 10 to 12 teaspoons of coconut oil in a steel vessel and add half or one teaspoon of olive oil to it.
  • Now do not heat this oil mixture directly because by doing so its nutrients are destroyed.
  • To heat the oil, take a vessel and fill it and heat the water.
  • After the water becomes hot, remove the vessel from the stove and keep the utensil of oil on top of that hot water and keep it for heating.
  • After the oil becomes hot, add 2 to 4 spoons of shikakai paste to it and let it heat for 10 minutes.
  • After it gets heated, leave this oil in the utensil for overnight and filter this oil in the morning and fill it in a glass vial and add vitamin E capsule to it.
  • Shikakai oil will be ready, now this oil can be used if required. 

Keep in mind that this oil should not be kept in the refrigerator and it can be stored only for two to three weeks. Shikakai oil can also be made available from the market. Instead of Shikakai paste, Shikakai powder can also be used and keep in mind that no chemical should be used to make Shikakai oil.


How to Apply Shikakai Oil In Hair?


Before applying shikakai oil, heat the oil slightly. But keep in mind that do not heat up completely, that is, do not offer it on direct flame, otherwise its elements will be destroyed. That's why make hot water, put it in the bottle. Then take it out and apply it. For this, comb the hair and apply oil everywhere on the scalp. Let it stay over night. Shampoo in the morning.
